Quotes by Dr Sarah Myhill
“The reason I got on to this path is because I realised that NHS medicine is woefully inadequate for healing people.”
“Now, they get treated with drugs to suppress symptoms, which means more drugs, escalating pathology and the patients get sicker.”
“The doctors are not asking the question: why? Why have I got migraine? Why have I got arthritis? Why have I got cancer? They weren’t looking at the underlying causes. It is all symptom suppression with medication.”
“How did primitive man get fat in the autumn? He got fat because carbohydrates are addictive.“
“We have a carbohydrate addiction gene, and once switched on, we can’t stop switching it on, we can’t stop eating carbohydrates. And guess what? We get fat.”
“I now know without a shadow of a doubt that carbohydrate addiction drives all Western pathology, from obesity and diabetes, to heart disease to cancer to dementia and to degenerative conditions.”
“The single biggest affects on our health is what we eat and our diet.”
"95% of what I practice now I’ve learned from my patients and from my practice not what I learned at medical school."
"What I now know is that the starting point to treat absolutely all disease and pathology and indeed to prevent such is the paleo-ketogenic diet."
"And I now know without a shadow of a doubt that carbohydrate addiction drives all Western pathology, from obesity and diabetes, to heart disease to cancer to dementia and to degenerative conditions."
