171: Amanda Decker - Healing Psoriasis With Carnivore

Amanda Decker

Amanda Decker FNPc, MHP, CKNS graduated in 2005 from Vanderbilt School of Nursing. She practiced in primary care until 2018, when she specialized in weight management.

She became burnt out in her clinical practice due to the lack of ability to truly help her patients other than prescribing the next best pill. It was at that point that she started intervening at the root cause of disease and attacked obesity head on, using her own health journey as a catalyst.

In her spare time she enjoys life with her family on a multi-generational farm. She is happily married and has two children. In addition to managing DMA Weight & Wellness, she is the organizer of “Low Carb for Better Health”, a yearly low carb event open to anyone.
